Update - Dundas Street West, Daugaard Avenue, Chapel Street, Main Street Construction 2024

Revised: Starting April 8, 2024, road restoration services will be taking place resulting in road closures. The roads to be affected are Dundas Street West, Daugaard Avenue, Chapel Street and Main Street. Road restoration is expected to last until late June.

Locations:

1. Dundas Street West between King Edward Street and 77 metres east of Chapel Street
2. Daugaard Avenue between Dundas Street West and 95 metres south
3. Chapel Street between Dundas Street West and south end
4. Main Street between Chapel Street and Washington Street

Revised Work Dates: Monday April 8 to late June 2024, end date to be determined

Work Preformed by: Sierra Infrastructure Inc. for County of Brant

Reason: Road restoration, including: Sidewalk installation, curb installation, boulevard grading, asphalt resurfacing, and surface asphalt placement

Notes:

• No through traffic
• Local access will be maintained
• Emergency access will be maintained
• Signage will be posted, and a flag person will direct traffic when required
• Non-local motorists are encouraged to take alternative traffic route
