Family Day Closures Reminder

The County of Brant will be closed for Family Day on Monday, February 19 and will re-open on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Please note the following changes to services on Family Day:

County of Brant Customer Service Offices:

County of Brant customer service offices will be closed and will re-open on Tuesday, February 20.
Online chat will be unavailable at this time.
A number of services are available online. Visit the Online Services webpage for a complete list.
For urgent matters, call 519.44BRANT (519.442.7268), 1.855.44BRANT and stay on the line to be transferred to the emergency dispatcher.

County of Brant Community Centres and Arenas:

The Community Centres and Arena's will be open for the following events only:

Family Day Skate at the Brant Sports Complex from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Family Day Skate at the Burford Community Centre from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Family Day Skate at the Gaukel Memorial Community Centre from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Family Day Kinderplay at the Syl Apps Community Centre from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Outside of the above events, all Community Centres and Arena's will be closed.

County of Brant Public Libraries:

All County of Brant Library branches will be closed on Sunday, February 18 and Monday, February 19.

Garbage and Recycling:

Regular curbside collection will occur on Monday, February 19.

Please place your waste at the curb by 7:00 am.

Landfills:

The Biggars Lane Landfill and Paris Transfer Station will be closed.

Public Transit:

Brant Transit will not operate on Monday, February 19 and will return to full service on Tuesday, February 20.

Join us for free Family Day activities! The County is pleased to offer free Family Day Skates and Kinderplay, generously sponsored by Isaac Rosebrugh, Mortgage Broker & Realtor and Riverside Heating and Air Conditioning Inc.

Join us:

Family Day Skate in Paris at the Brant Sports Complex from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Family Day Skate in Burford at the Burford Community Centre from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Family Day Skate in St. George at the Gaukel Memorial Community Centre from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Family Day Kinderplay in Paris at the Syl Apps Community Centre from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

No registration is required for these events.
