Family Literacy Day Community Celebration Cancellation

Notice: Due to inclement weather, the Family Literacy Day Community Celebration has been moved to next Tuesday, February 3. 

Regularly scheduled Kinderplay at Syl Apps will still take place from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Family Literacy Day Community Celebration

Date: Tuesday, February 3

Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (Kinderplay 10:00 - 11:30 am)

Location: Syl Apps Community Centre (51 William Street, Paris)

What to expect:

  • Free Kinderplay on the turf
  • StoryWalk with County of Brant Public Library
  • Book Giveaway*
  • Community information and resources*

Attendees will receive a free copy of the Let's Read 2026 book selection "Baking Day at Grandma's" and a kit of take-home fun, while supplies last. Kinderplay is a great way for your little ones to play and socialize with a variety of toys. This program is suitable for children aged 1 to 6, and adult supervision is required.

Please note - Food and drinks are not permitted on the turf, and indoor shoes are required.
