Collection Delay Notice - Monday, February 17, 2025

Unfortunately, the snow and blowing snow have contributed to delays with today’s waste and recycling collection, and it is anticipated some areas of today’s collection will not get picked up.

If your material has not been picked up by 8:00 pm tonight, please either leave your materials curbside overnight, or remove and place it back at curbside by 7:00 am tomorrow morning, and it will be collected by the end of day.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Winter Weather Collection Reminders

With the winter weather that we have been experiencing, we would like to remind residents of these important collection tips that will allow for a speedy and safe collection of your garbage and recycling:

• Do not place items on or behind snowbanks as this makes it difficult to pick up, place items at the end of your driveway or clear a small area at the curb.
• Do not place items on the road as this is a safety hazard for neighbours & snow removal vehicles.

Unfortunately, materials set out in an unsafe location will not be able to be collected.

• Keep lids closed and don't put garbage out until the morning of to avoid furry friends finding shelter in your trash.
• Clear snow and ice off lids so they will open easily when emptied.

This small effort makes a big difference in keeping our collection process efficient and safe for everyone.
