Highway #53 - Culvert Rehabilitation 2025

Please note that Highway #53 Culvert works will begin Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

Location: Highway 53 between Muir Road and West Quarter Townline Road

Work Dates: Wednesday, July 2 to Friday, August 29, 2025 (nine weeks)

Closed by: Urbanlink Civil Ltd. for County of Brant

Reason: Muir Culvert Rehabilitation

Details:

  • Through traffic will be maintained
  • Local and emergency traffic will be maintained
  • Highway 53 will be down to one lane at the culvert, 3.5 meters (11.4 feet) width
  • Traffic signage and portable traffic signals will be erected to direct traffic
