The County of Brant will be starting construction on Hillside Avenue and Race Street the week of Monday April 15, 2024.
Locations:
Hillside Avenue from Old Mill Street to Race Street
Race Street from Hillside Avenue to Ball Street
Work Dates: Monday April 15 to Friday June 28, 2024
Work Performed by: BEECH Infrastructure Group Ltd. for County of Brant
Reason: Surface Works and Sidewalk Installation
Note:
Residents are advised that construction will begin on Hillside Avenue and Race Street the week of Monday April 15, 2024. The work will take approximately 12 weeks and will be completed by Friday June 28, 2024. The work includes curb repair, new concrete sidewalk, paving road surface and driveways as well as landscaping/reinstating lawns and boulevards.
Hillside Avenue and Race Street will be closed to all traffic except local and emergency traffic during working hours and will be open overnight and on weekends. Daytime traffic will be controlled by Traffic Control Personnel. Residents are advised that during the curb repair and sidewalk installation works some residents may be required to park on the street for a duration of 1 week. Notices will be provided closer to the commencement of curb and sidewalk works.
