Mt. Pleasant Outdoor Water Use Changed to Green
Please be advised that the Mount Pleasant Drinking Water System has moved to green for Outdoor Water Use. The water supply system is operating normally.
Please note the following water-use restrictions:
- Lawn Watering: Permitted with a hose or sprinkler system every other day at specific times and dates.
- Watering Gardens: Permitted with a hose or sprinkler every other day at specific times and dates.
- Car Washing: Permitted with a hose or sprinkler every other day at specific times and dates. Hose must have shut-off nozzle.
- Washing Driveways, Decks, and Patios: Not permitted.
- Filling Pools, Hot Tubs, Garden Ponds, or Fountains: Permitted every other day at specific times and dates.
The consumer can choose the day of the week according to the odd/even number protocol.
The activity is permitted between 7:00 am and 9:00 am and 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm every other day according to municipal address. The activity is permitted at municipal addresses ending with an odd number on odd number calendar days and municipal addresses ending with an even number on even numbered calendar days.
