National Youth Week 2024

National Youth Week is recognized annually May 1 – 7!

Join us in celebrating the energy, passion and potential of young people everywhere. Investing in our youth means investing in our community, and the County of Brant is committed to amplifying the unique and diverse perspectives of this population.

The County of Brant Youth Centre is open every Tuesday from November to June, 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm, at Syl Apps Community Centre (51 William Street, Paris). Youth ages 12-17 are welcome to join for turf time, arts and crafts, and access to technology such as iPads and Xbox. The Youth Centre membership fee is $21 per season.

To celebrate National Youth Week, we are offering a FREE drop-in Youth Centre next Tuesday, May 7, with Turf time and Dodgeball scheduled from 4:00 – 5:00 pm.

Youth may also join for a FREE pop-up Youth Centre in partnership with the County of Brant Library – Burford Branch (24 Park Ave, Burford) on Thursday, May 9 from 3:30 – 6:30 pm. Stop by to explore new books, make crafts and participate in fun activities with friends.
