Nominations are open for the 2023 Sports Hall of Fame

2023 “Sports Hall of Fame” Nominations are Open!

The County of Brant is encouraging residents to nominate local athletes for the “Sports Hall of Fame”. To date 39 Awards have been presented to local Athletes & Teams throughout the County of Brant – ceremonies are held Brant Oakland/Onondaga, Brant West, Paris & Area and South Dumfries & Area.

The goals of the Sports Hall of Fame are as follows:

1. To recognize individuals and team achievements in the area of sport, fitness and wellness.

2. To recognize the efforts of builders of sport in the community and for the broader sport sector.

3. To foster civic pride by recognizing the accomplishments of local athletes, teams and builders.

4. To create public awareness of health and well-being by highlighting individual residents who participate and compete in sport.
