Notice of Statutory Public Meeting – Fees & Charges By-law

The County of Brant intends to pass a Fees and Charges By-law which includes fees for Water, Wastewater, Solid Waste, Police, and Fire. The fees will be effective as of January 1, 2026, unless otherwise noted in the By-law. In accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, Ontario Regulation 244/02, a statutory public meeting has been scheduled as follows:

• County of Brant Council Chambers, 7 Broadway Street North, Paris

The report on the Proposed 2026 Fees & Charges and draft by-law is being presented to the Administration and Operations Committee on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. For more information please visit www.brant.ca/fees

Meetings are open to the public and can also be viewed on the County of Brant YouTube Channel at brant.ca/Live.

Anyone interested in providing comments on this matter may also do so by emailing correspondence to the Clerk at clerks@brant.ca or by requesting to appear as a delegation  at brant.ca/Delegations.  Anyone in attendance at the meeting will have an opportunity to make representation with respect to this matter.

Correspondence may also be sent directly to the County office c/o the County Clerk by mail or drop off, however any delay or disruption in mail service may prevent correspondence from being included as part of Council’s consideration.
