Peddie Bridge Rehabilitation
What and where is bridge construction happening?

The Peddie Bridge, located on Big Creek Road between Mulligan Road and County Road 22, will be closed for rehabilitation work.

The road will be closed on both sides of the bridge for the duration of the project. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and plan for possible delays.
When?
- Tuesday, April 7, 2026 to November 2026.
Why?
- Rehabilitation of the bridge structure will prolong the life of the bridge and avoid a costly replacement.
Changes during bridge construction period?
- Intersection impacts: Big Creek Road will be closed at Mulligan Road and County Road 22. Local traffic only signs will be posted at both intersections.
- Road impacts: Road closed at either side of bridge and there will be no access to go over the bridge.
- Detour routes: Detour routes will be posted.
- Access (personal driveways, services or amenities): Access will be maintained throughout construction for all Big Creek Road residents.
- Garbage: Homes from # 334 to # 361 will have their garbage collection maintained. Please continue to have your garbage at the end of your lane by 7:00 am.
