Taxes due this week on Thursday, February 29

A friendly reminder that taxes are due this Thursday. February 29, 2024.
The first half of 2024 tax due dates are February 29, 2024 and April 30, 2024. If you have not received a tax bill, please contact the tax division at 519.442.7268.
There are a number of ways you can pay your taxes.
- Municipal taxes can be paid at Customer Service Offices in:
- Burford, 26 Park Ave, Burford
- Paris, 66 Grand River St. N, Paris
- St. George Library, 78 Main St. N, St George
- Scotland-Oakland Library, 281 Oakland Rd, Scotland
- Burford Library, 24 Park Ave, Burford
- Paris Library, 12 William St, Paris
- In the drop boxes at the addresses listed below:
- Onondaga: 734 Highway 54, Onondaga (newly moved to inside the front door)
- St. George: 7 Gaukel Dr., St. George
- Burford Administration: 26 Park Ave, Burford
- Paris: 66 Grand River St. N, Paris
- Online/telephone banking through your financial institution
- On our website through the Property Tax Webform *please note, a fee applies when paying by credit card*
Other available services
There are two (2) types of tax pre-authorized payment plans available. This allows payments to be automatically withdrawn from your bank account on pre-determined dates.
11 month Payment Plan
- The 11 month payment plan begins in January and continues monthly through to November. No payments are necessary for December. The first monthly payments are calculated based on the previous year's taxes. The final payments are calculated on the final amount due.
- Residents will receive a letter notifying their new monthly amount.
- Plans started through the year are pro-rated.
- Monthly payments are either on the 1st of the 15th of each month.
Due Date Payment Plan
- The due date plan withdraws the installment amount on the regular tax due dates.
