The County of Brant is seeking feedback on its Economic Development Strategy Update

The County of Brant is continually reevaluating tactics to best support the local business community. Beginning Tuesday, September 5, 2023, we will be seeking community feedback on a refreshed Economic Development Strategy, Advancing Brant’s Future, to further strengthen and diversify the local economy.

“The world has changed dramatically over the past few years and the business environment is significantly different,” said Zach Gable, Director of Economic Development and Tourism. “As such, the County of Brant is updating our current Economic Development Strategy to address these changes and, through community feedback, collectively determine updates to our strategy that are forward-thinking and prepare us for future challenges.”

Recognizing the importance of inclusive decision-making and community involvement, we are inviting the public to visit the Engage Brant website at www.EngageBrant.ca/Advance to learn more about the Economic Development Strategy update and give their feedback through an online survey and by sharing questions and comments about the program. Paper copies of the survey are also available at County of Brant Customer Service Offices. The online survey closes on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 4:30 pm.
