West River Street Reconstruction 2024 – Lane Closure Update

Please be advised of lane closures taking place beginning Friday, September 20 as part of the West River Street Reconstruction. Full details are listed below:

Location: West River Street at William Street Intersection in Paris

Work Dates: Friday, September 20 until further notice

Work Performed by: BEECH Infrastructure Group Ltd. for County of Brant

Reason: Full road reconstruction including replacement of watermain, storm, sanitary sewer, and road resurfacing

Details:

• William Street westbound lane at West River Street intersection is closed until further notice
• West River northbound lane Street at William Street intersection is closed until further notice
• No through traffic
• Local access will be maintained, access to driveways will be maintained
• Emergency access will be maintained
• Yield to oncoming traffic
• Signage will be posted, and a flag person will direct traffic when required
• Non-local motorists are encouraged to take alternative traffic route
