West River Street Reconstruction 2024

Please be advised that beginning Tuesday, August 6 to late December 2024, West River Street between Mechanic Street and Broadway Street West will undergo construction. Full details are listed below:

Location: West River Street between Mechanic Street and Broadway Street West

Work Dates: Tuesday, August 6 to late December 2024, end date to be determined

Work Performed by: BEECH Infrastructure Group Ltd. for County of Brant

Reason: Full road reconstruction including replacement of watermain, storm, sanitary sewer, and road resurfacing

Note:

• No through traffic
• Local access will be maintained
• Emergency access will be maintained
• Signage will be posted, and a flag person will direct traffic when required
• Non-local motorists are encouraged to take alternative traffic route
