A Winter Weather Travel Advisory is in effect for the County of Brant now through Sunday morning.
Sudden near zero visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow with accumulations of 5 to 10 cm over some locations is expected.
When bad weather approaches, we remind motorists to:
- Check the weather and road conditions before heading out
- Avoid all non-essential travel
- Have a well-stocked emergency car kit
- Be patient with the plows and other snow maintenance vehicles
