Ontario Land Tribunal

The Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) is an adjudicative tribunal that hears cases in relation to a range of land use matters, heritage conservation and municipal governance. The OLT reports to the Ministry of the Attorney General.

When an applicant appeals to the OLT, the municipality (County of Brant) does not have authority to make any decisions. However, the OLT provides the municipality the opportunity to work with the applicant to resolve issues.

  • Visit the Ontario Land Tribunal website to learn more about the appeal process and to view a full list of the past and current appeals
