About the Wilkin Family Community Centre
Welcome to the Wilkin Family Community Centre!
As a healthy, vibrant and inclusive community, we are excited to build a space where our residents can thrive, connect, and continue to enrich our community for generations to come.
This fresh new space will produce as much clean energy as it consumes and, according to Natural Resources Canada, is expected to be 80% more energy efficient than a new building constructed to today's building code minimum.
The community centre will include:
- Multi-purpose indoor space with a capacity for 60 people - 1,098 sq. ft.
- Outdoor covered patio and barbeque area - 513 sq. ft.
- 8 outdoor cabanas
- A feature wall memorabilia display cabinet
- Kitchenette
We are excited to welcome all residents to a new Community Centre located at 169 Grand River Street North in Paris. Home to the Paris Lawn Bowling Club and the Paris Seniors Club 99, this vibrant space, nestled along the Grand River will be a true gem in our community, a place where timeless friendships grow and new connections bloom.
With approximately 2,055 square feet of total indoor space, the single-story building will provide room for indoor and outdoor recreation, social activities, family gatherings, cultural and arts activities and a host of other opportunities to enjoy.
