The County of Brant is committed to serving all members of our community equally when participating in Recreation Programs. The FAIR Brant program, and other programs, supports this commitment.
About FAIR Brant
FAIR Brant will provide participants with adapted and inclusive opportunities within already existing programs and services in the County of Brant. These programs include General Camps (Winter, March Break, & PA Day), Summer Camp, Aquatics Programs and After School Programs.
FAIR Brant aims to provide physical activity and social inclusion for children with disabilities.
FAIR Brant Friendly Programs
These inclusive programs have been designed for a wide range of abilities and accommodations will be made to fit the individual needs of the participants. Staff are trained in inclusive practices. All family members are welcome to attend these programs.

Sensory Play in Brant
The County of Brant has partnered with the County of Brant Public Library on a Sensory Back Pack Program. Please see below more information on ways to borrow.
Sensory Stepping Stones Backpack
Create a variety of fun gross motor activities with this set of super durable stepping stones! this set is great for working on motor planning, balance, core strengthening, and coordination skills. Sensory Trail
The Nith River Sensory Trail is an interactive recreational trail designed for people of all abilities. The trail includes a variety of elements to explore including musical instruments. The trail also includes a variety features, which people with disabilities can use to access the trail independently such as a guided rope, braille signs, a paved path and an accessible picnic table.

Every Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Paris Sobeys offers “sensory friendly shopping” The aisles have a library-like quietness and the lights are a little dimmer.
