After School Programs

The County of Brant is pleased to offer the After School Program for residents in our communities. The After School Program runs Monday to Friday from the bell to 6:00 pm. This program does not run on statutory holidays, PA days or when school is closed.

Locations

The County of Brant is pleased to offer nine (9) After School Locations. View below for location information. 

Burford Community Centre – Blessed Sacrament
The program is open to students attending Blessed Sacrament School from Junior Kindergarten to grade 6. Participants will be walked to the Burford Community Centre by staff after school and can be picked up here.
Burford – Burford District Elementary School
 The program is open to students attending Burford District Elementary School from Junior Kindergarten to grade 6.
Glen Morris – Glen Morris Public School
 The program is open to students attending Glen Morris Public School from Junior Kindergarten to grade 6.
Mount Pleasant Community Centre - Mount Pleasant School
The program is open to students attending Mt. Pleasant School from Junior Kindergarten to grade 6. Students will be walked from Mt. Pleasant School to the Mt. Pleasant Community Centre by program by staff.
Paris – Cobblestone Elementary School
 The program is open to students attending Cobblestone Elementary School from Junior Kindergarten to grade 6.
Paris – Paris Central
The program is open to students attending Paris Central School from Junior Kindergarten to grade 6.
Scotland Community Centre – Oakland Scotland and Blessed Sacrament
The program is open to students attending Oakland Scotland School and Blessed Sacrament School from Junior Kindergarten to grade 6. Students will be bussed from Oakland Scotland School and Blessed Sacrament School to the Scotland Community Centre. 
Gaukel Memorial  Community Centre – St. George German School
The program is open to students attending St. George German School from Junior Kindergarten to grade 6. Students will be walked from St. George German School to the Gaukel Memorial Community Centre by staff. 
Onondaga-Brant Public School
This program is open to students attending Onondaga-Brant Public School and St. Peter's School from Junior Kindergarten to grade 6. Students will be bussed from St. Peter's School to Onondaga-Brant Public.

Payment and Registration Information

  • The cost is $130.00/month per child. Refunds are not provided for school closures such as snow days.
  • Participants are required to register and pay for September in full to guarantee a spot for the entire school year.
  • Month by month registration is not available for the 2025-2026 school year.
  • Scheduled payments will be due on the first of every month.

Registration for the After School Program will open on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 6:00 pm. Register online on the COB Connect Webpage.

To register over the phone, call 519.442.1944. We recommend creating your account online prior to the program registration date. Visit COB Connect to create your account.

An after school program refund will only be issued if the Recreation System Administrator is notified five (5) days prior to the start of the program. After this time, a refund will be considered for medical or compassionate circumstances only. A medical note may be required. If you register after the program has started, we regret we are unable to prorate the original program fee.

Financial Assistance

Families are eligible for childcare subsidy when criteria is met and financial need is identified for both After School Programs and any day camps.

Required Documents

The After School Program Handbook (PDF) will be provided to caregivers upon registration. The handbook outlines a number of additional health and safety protocols we have put in place.
