There are so many fun and easy ways to take part in Earth Week—because even small actions can have a big impact. Join us in giving back to the place we all call home and make this Earth Week truly meaningful!

Earth Week Tree Planting in Mt. Pleasant 

Join us for tree planting this Earth Day - we will be planting 800 trees in the park!

  • Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025
  • Time: 10:00 am-1:00 pm
  • Location: Mount Pleasant Nature Park, 755 Mt. Pleasant Rd, Mt. Pleasant
  • Please bring gloves, rain wear (if required), closed toe footwear, a shovel, and a reusable water bottle.

Special thanks to the Brant Waterways Foundation and our partners the Mt. Pleasant Optimist Club, the
Grand River Conservation Authority, Trees for Life and Brant Tree Coalition for their time and efforts.

Adopt-A-Road

Help keep our roads clean and beautiful by volunteering for the Adopt-A-Road program. Choose a section of road and commit to just three cleanups per year between April 15 and November 15.

Celebrate Earth Week with the County of Brant Public Library: 

  • Earth Day Scavenger Hunt Contest – Join the fun from April 22 to 29!
  • Borrow free day passes to Grand River Parks and Ontario Provincial Parks
  • Discover the Seed Library and grow something great
  • Check out adventure gear like hiking kits, birdwatching tools, and gardening supplies
  • Enjoy a Storywalk following the Community Tree Planting event
