Recreation Financial Assistance
Leisure Involvement for Everyone (LIFE) program
It's important that all children, youth, adults and seniors in the community have the chance to access recreation and leisure services.
Financial assistance for most drop-in and registered programs may be available if you qualify. Find out if you meet the requirements by looking at the chart below.
What you need to know:
- Assistance is now available for children, youth, adults and seniors.
- Assistance is now funded 100% with a maximum annual entitlement.
- You can choose from any County of Brant registered programming or membership based recreational programming.
- Subsidy can only be used for two weeks of camp.
- You will not be charged to apply.
Things to bring when you apply:
- Notice of Assessment from previous tax year.
- Current pay stub.
- Current Employment Insurance Benefit stub.
- Child Tax Benefit statement.
- Benefit statement from Ontario Works and/or Ontario Disability.

Childcare subsidy information
Families are eligible for childcare subsidy when criteria are met by clients and financial need is identified for both After School Program and any Day Camp.
