The Sports Hall of Fame was created to acknowledge the athletic achievements of those in the County of Brant community. Ceremonies are held in Burford, Paris and St. George.

Sports Hall of Fame
The Sports Hall of Fame is supported by the following 4 goals:
- To recognize individuals and team achievements in the area of sport, fitness and wellness
- To recognize the efforts of builders of sport in the community and for the broader sport sector
- To foster civic pride by recognizing accomplishments of local athletes, teams and builders
- To create public awareness of health and well-being by highlighting individual residents who participate and compete in sport
