Tree Planting Events

Trees are wonderful additions to any property. They provide clean air, shelter and food for wildlife and so much more. 

The County of Brant hosts several Tree Planting events throughout the year. 

Burford Community Tree Planting Event - Saturday, October 19, 2024

Join us for a Community Tree Planting, where we will be planting 400 trees in the park.

Date: Saturday October 19, 2024

Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Location: Burford Lions Art Cadman Park, 78 Maple Ave, Burford, Ontario, Canada N0E 1A0 (Map)

Please bring gloves, rain wear (if required), closed toe footwear, a shovel and a reusable water bottle

The Burford Lions club will be providing a free BBQ Lunch and refreshments for all volunteers.

Tree Giveaway

The County of Brant is giving away free trees for National Forest Week!

The County of Brant will be giving away 350 free trees to County of Brant residents to celebrate National Forest Week, third week of September. Residents will be able to select from 9 different types of native species. Please reserve your free tree by registering through the COBConnect website. Trees are a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Trees will not be delivered and will only be available for pick up. Pick up will take place in September with information to be sent out to all registrants during the first week of September.
