Local garden clubs and groups
St. George Garden Group |
The St. George Garden Club is excited to celebrate 101 years as an active club in the St. George community. Founded as a way to encourage and promote gardening for pleasure and for food, the club continues to offer monthly meetings with guest speakers, activities, and flower competitions, planting and maintaining the planters on Main Street and the Anniversary Garden at the Community Centre, as well as taking part in many community events. Our club promotes gardening for all ages and abilities. Involving youth in gardening is a perfect way to inspire the next generation to respect and care for our planet. It teaches them the importance of diversity, of how we are all linked together and how much change just one person can achieve. Email St. George Garden Club |
