The development charges for municipal services (service studies, fire protection, emergency services, parks and recreation etc.) are calculated following the guidelines set out by the development charges bylaws.

Development Charges Bylaw Amendment

  • The Development Charges Background Study Update was posted on September 24, 2021 and was available for 60 days. 

A public meeting related to the above document occurred Tuesday November 9, 2021 at 6pm at the beginning of the Policy Development and Strategic Direction Committee meeting. To view the meeting on November 9, please visit www.brant.ca/youtube.

  • Development Charges Interest Rate Policy
  • See the full Development Charge bylaw 100-19 and Development Charges Amending bylaw 121-21 by the Corporation of the County of Brant. The current bylaws 100-19 and 121-21 will expire August 31, 2024.
