Development Charge Review Meetings
The County of Brant invites Developers, business owners, interested residents and stakeholders to participate in a meeting that reviews development charges.
Every five years, the Development Charge Background Study needs to be reviewed to update the development charges. To determine a development charge, the County of Brant must review the municipality’s anticipated growth, both residential and non-residential; the services needed to meet the demands of growth; and the capital costs for each infrastructure project needed to support the growth. Capital costs may include roads, sewers, watermains, sidewalks, streetlights, recreation facilities, library, fire vehicles and halls, ambulance vehicles and stations, etc.
