The County of Brant Fire Department aims to reduce loss of life and property due to fires and emergencies in our community. We run eight stations across the county with a fleet including pumpers, tankers, support vehicles and rescue boats.
We are one department, with one mission, with excellence as our commitment to our community.

Tanker Shuttle Accreditation
The County of Brant Fire Department is tanker shuttle accredited. (Tanker-Shuttle-Accreditation.pdf)
This means that we can provide hydrant protected insurance gradings, even in areas of the county that are not protected with hydrants. Our fire service can pump a minimum of 900L/min within five minutes of first pump when we arrive. We can maintain that water flow for a period of two hours.
With this classification, our residents and commercial property owners should be eligible (depending on insurance companies) for rate reductions in the fire portion of their insurance.
