The County of Brant recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult for many households and businesses to pay their bills in full and on time. In response, the County of Brant is providing relief on late payment charges on taxes, water and waste water and accounts receivable.
This relief means that charges for late payments and interest will not be added from April 1 to September 30, 2020. Any late payment charges prior to this period are due and payable. The relief does not mean that the amount of the bill is being reduced. The bill remains due and payable.
