In some areas of the county, skateboarding can be dangerous to others and isn't allowed. For more information see our skateboarding bylaw.
Areas where skateboarding is prohibited include:
- Within the Business Improvement Area in Paris
- Along Lorimer Street, St. George
- Along Main Street between High Street and Beverly Street, St. George
Skateboarding is encouraged at one of our four public skate parks:
- Two Rivers Stadium - Elm St., Paris
- South Dumfries Community Centre - Gaukel Dr., South Dumfries
- Burford Community Centre - Potter Dr., Burford
- Mount Pleasant Park - Burtch Rd., Mount Pleasant
