Criminal record checks and police checks are required for a variety of purposes including employment, adoption, international travel, volunteer work, citizenship, name change, student placement or to obtain a record suspension (formerly pardon).
Currently, Record Checks are available to apply for in-person only at the detachment front desk, Monday to Friday (excluding stat holidays) from 8:30-4:15 pm. No appointment is necessary. Our current wait time is on average 3-14 business days depending on volume.
