The month of June was chosen for Pride Month around the world to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBTQ+ people have had in the world.

 

 

Yard Signs2022 Celebrate Pride Month Lawn Signs

On Tuesday, April 20, 2021 County of Brant Council approved the mobilization of Celebrate Pride lawn signs for residents in the County of Brant. We thank those who displayed a Celebrate Pride lawn sign in 2021, and are excited to again offer signs to the public for Pride 2022!

NEW - Request a Celebrate Pride lawn sign by filling out the online request form and choosing your pick up location (please note that delivery is not available).  This form will open on Wednesday, May 25 at 8:30am. This is a friendly reminder, signs will only be given to those who fill out the request form above. Quantity is limited and signs are only available to County of Brant residents.

Signs will be available for pick-up at the following location: (please complete the online form above to reserve your sign):
• Paris Customer Service Office, 66 Grand River Street North, Paris. Signs will be available from June 1 (8:30am-4:30pm)

  • Pride Flag Raising

    Pride Flag Council ChambersJoin staff and allies on Thursday, June 9 for the 2022 Pride Flag Raising.

    The flag will be raised at 11:00am, behind Council Chambers (66 Grand River St, N, Paris)







 

  • Pride Button Making & more in partnership with County of Brant Public Library

Pride ButtonStop by the County of Brant Library - Burford Branch on Thursday, June 9 from 6-8pm to celebrate Pride Month with your family. Join us for Button making, crafts, a storybook walk and more!
