The County of Brant is responsible for construction and maintenance of our roads. To build, maintain and repair our roads, sidewalks and other infrastructure, we sometimes need to restrict access to roads.
We make every reasonable effort to notify you about our road closures well in advance of any disruptions, however, all dates are tentative and may change without notice, due to weather conditions, etc.
What to Expect
Road closures for construction projects may delay your trip and affect your residential area in other ways.
You may temporarily lose access to your road for a short period of time.
Unless otherwise notified, continue to place your garbage and recycling out to the curb as usual.
Construction Zone Safety:
Do not enter a work site with "Road Closed" signs to get to your home or work.
Be extra cautious, slow down, vehicles ahead of you could stop suddenly.
Watch for a traffic person directing traffic. They are there to protect both you and the construction workers.
The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to remind motorists about the necessity of being extra cautious while travelling in Construction Zones.
