How do I stay up to date on what's happening in the County of Brant? |
There is a lot going on in the County of Brant. To stay up to date with recreation, events, road closures, news, public meetings, weather events etc. be sure to follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter. Who do I contact about Utilities? |
The County is responsible for water services. Please contact us at 519.449.2451. Hydro is provided by Energy Plus and Hydro One depending on your location. Natural Gas is provided by Union Gas Limited. If you are planning on digging/breaking ground, it is your responsibility to get all the proper utility locates. To do so, you can call Ontario One Call to request a free locate. |
Where do I find my Garbage and Recycling schedule? |

Where do I purchase a Blue Box? Is there a Green Box? |
You can purchase a Blue Box for $6 (includes tax). If you have purchased a new construction home, your Blue Box is free! Blue Boxes can be purchased at the Paris Customer Service Office (66 Grand River St. N. Paris), St. George Arena (7 Gaukel Dr., St. George), Burford Administration Office (26 Park Ave. Burford) and Oakland Customer Service Office (3 King St. N., Oakland). Who do I contact about my Taxes? |
Through paying your property taxes, you help fund the services delivered by the County such as road maintenance and repair, recreation programs, emergency services and more. Click for tax information, contacts and various methods on how to pay your taxes. |
I need a new dog license. |
By licensing your dog, and can save you and your dog the stress of being lost and picked up by animal control. Click for information about dog licensing. |
Recreation, facilities, parks and trails |
Looking for a recreation program in Brant? Visit the Recreation Programs page for more information and to view the latest Community Services Guide online. Registered and drop-in programs are offered for all ages. The County of Brant operates 5 Community Centres (3 are indoor arenas and 1 is an indoor turf facility), an outdoor pool is also open seasonally from June – September. Residential Condominium Buyers' Guide |
The Ontario government has launched a new
Residential Condominium Buyers' Guide to help condo buyers make informed purchasing decisions. Beginning January 1, 2021, developers across the province will be required to provide purchasers of new or pre-construction residential condos with a copy of the guide and the current disclosure statement.
