Riders are required to plan in advance when using Brant Transit, as well as be flexible when looking for booking options. When riders book, they can select “Arrive by” (to their destination) or “Depart at” (from their pick-up location) as their trip option. When a ride is requested, the system will find the best available option within a two-hour search window and then provide a narrower 30-minute pick up window to accommodate Arrive by or Depart at times, as best as possible and based on the other rides already booked. Remember, you will receive ride notifications (either via phone or text) and with the new app you can also track your ride for greater convenience! Like all public transportation services, riders will need to be prepared for their ride.
