Maintaining your rain barrel seasonally is easy and will help to prolong its life. Follow these instructions:
Summer:
- Clean your screen monthly to prevent clogging.
- Check for erosion around your rain barrel.
- Make sure that the rain barrel is always stable and level.
Winter:
- Drain the barrel and store it in a safe place.
- Don't leave it out in the winter as it may freeze and crack.
