Watering
Outdoor water use is limited to conserve water and ensure the supply of municipal water for all properties.
Outdoor water use days are determined by the last number of a property's municipal address. This applies to both residential and commercial properties.

- Newly planted grass (seed or sod), trees, shrubs and gardens, while being installed and during the first 24 hours after the installation
- Lawns being treated with any pesticide, herbicide or fertilizer that requires water during or within the 24 hours after application
- Watering cans may be used any day at anytime to water plants, trees and vegetable gardens, however a flowing hose cannot be inserted in the watering can while watering
In times of drought, more stringent conservation measures may be applied. If this occurs, details will be communicated through the County of Brant's news, social media, local newspapers, letters and radio.
