Earth Week Tree Planting in Glen Morris
Join us for tree planting this Earth Day - we will be planting 1,000 trees in the park!
- Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026
- Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Location: Rising Park, Glen Morris (5 Brook Street, Glen Morris)

A snack will be provided!

Don’t forget your shovel, gloves, closed-toe footwear, and rain gear (just in case!).

Adopt-A-Road
Help keep our roads clean and beautiful by volunteering for the Adopt-A-Road program. Choose a section of road and commit to just three cleanups per year between April 15 and November 15.

Clean up a County of Brant Park or Trail
In celebration of Earth Week, groups are invited to get involved by selecting a local park or trail to clean up. Supplies, including bags and gloves, will be provided. To arrange a cleanup day, please contact parksandrec@brant.ca

- Earth Day Scavenger Hunt Contest
Visit a branch to pick up a copy of the Earth Day Scavenger Hunt. Find the objects around your school or home. Once complete, return the Scavenger Hunt to the library to be entered to win an Earth Day-themed prize!
- Fun for all ages
- To be entered in the draw, return your Scavenger Hunt to the library by Tuesday, April 28
- Borrow free day passes to Grand River Conservation Areas and Ontario Provincial Parks
- Discover the Seed Library and grow something great
- Check out adventure gear like hiking kits, birdwatching tools, and gardening supplies
- Enjoy a Storywalk following the Community Tree Planting event
- Earth Day Scavenger Hunt Contest
