Thank you to everyone who attended the St. George Ceremony and Congratulations to our 2026 Inductees!
St. George Lions Club – For more than 80 years, the Lions Club has supported community recreation, helping fund the arena, develop local sports facilities and support generations of athletes and sports organizations.
Doug Robb – A hockey player, official and builder whose remarkable contributions to the sport include officiating in the 1974 Summit Series and helping develop sledge hockey programs in Hamilton and Brant.
Dean and Sue Morrison – Remembered and honoured for their decades of dedicated service to minor hockey and community recreation through coaching, leadership and volunteering.

About the Sports Hall of Fame
The Sports Hall of Fame is supported by the following 4 goals:
- To recognize individuals and team achievements in the area of sport, fitness and wellness
- To recognize the efforts of builders of sport in the community and for the broader sport sector
- To foster civic pride by recognizing accomplishments of local athletes, teams and builders
- To create public awareness of health and well-being by highlighting individual residents who participate and compete in sport
