Celebrate June
June is recognized across Ontario as both Recreation and Parks Month and Seniors Month — a time to celebrate community, wellness, and the many people who help make our communities vibrant and connected.
Recreation and Parks Month highlights the physical, social, and environmental benefits of parks and recreation. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the programs, public spaces, and activities that support healthy, active living for residents of all ages.
At the same time, Seniors Month recognizes and honours the dedication, wisdom, and lifelong contributions of older adults who have helped shape our communities into what they are today.
The County of Brant is also turning up the heat again with Park vs. Park, the second annual showdown! This is a fun and friendly showdown to crown Brant’s Favourite Park. Learn more at engagebrant.ca/parkvspark2026.
