Enforcement Policy
On September 24, 2024, Council of the County of Brant adopted the Enforcement Policy and Service Level Matrix. The purpose of the policy is to provide guidance to staff, elected officials and the general public regarding by-law enforcement policies and practices in the receipt of complaints, the initiation of investigations and enforcement proceedings related to regulatory by-laws in the County of Brant.
To ensure adequate resources are maintained to investigate complaints in a timely manner, a By-law Enforcement Service Level Matrix had been adopted to assist Municipal Law Enforcement Officers in assessing and prioritizing the service level response for each County By-law.
