The County of Brant is home to the Biggars Lane Landfill and Paris Transfer Station for solid waste and recycling disposal/drop off. Staff are available at the transfer and landfill station to help you find the appropriate areas for your recyclables and waste.
The Biggars Lane Landfill is where you can drop off large loads for disposal or recycling. Large loads (more than a fully loaded pick-up truck) need to be taken to the Biggars Lane Landfill. Large loads are not accepted at the Paris Waste Transfer and Recycling Station.

The Paris Waste Transfer and Recycling Station allows residents to drop off small amounts of solid wastes and recycling items. Large loads are not accepted at the Paris Waste Transfer and Recycling Station.

Payments by credit card or debit card are preferred. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. Credit accounts can be set up for industrial, commercial and institutional users.
Recyclable and reusable materials must be sorted. Doing so conserves valuable land fill space and generates revenue which directly offsets the cost of operating your waste management facilities.
