After another busy construction season, we're celebrating the completion of Phase 2 of the Downtown Dig!

The final portion of paving is complete from Mechanic Street to the Nith River Bridge and Grand River Street North is now OPEN!
A huge THANK YOU to our downtown businesses, residents and visitors for your patience, understanding and continued support throughout construction.
Despite the construction, Downtown Paris continued to shine! Thank you to everyone who visited the Downtown Paris Promenade, celebrated at Riverfest, explored the local markets or enjoyed a complimentary Tasty Road Trip. Your support helped keep our downtown vibrant throughout the season.
A special thank you to the Downtown Paris BIA and its Board of Management for their collaboration, creativity and dedication over the past two years.
And there's even more to celebrate! Over the past two years, the County's Downtown Community Improvement Plan (CIP) has received $314,019 in grant applications, supporting more than $1.79 million in total construction investment. It's a great example of how public and private investment can work together to strengthen and revitalize our downtown.
And there's still more to look forward to in Downtown Paris!
As Remembrance Day approaches, we encourage everyone to take a moment to honour our veterans, including visiting the new commemorative crosswalk near the Paris Cenotaph.
And don't forget — Jingle Bell Night is just around the corner! Another wonderful opportunity to shop local, celebrate the season and enjoy everything @Downtown Paris has to offer.
Thank you for continuing to support Downtown Paris.
