The 2026 Municipal and School Board Election will take place on Monday, October 26
NEW for 2026: Voting will take place online and by phone only. The County of Brant will offer in-person Voter Assistance Locations during advance voting and on Election Day to help residents who need assistance voting online.

The County has added two new raised crossovers on Trillium Way to help calm traffic and keep our roads safer and improve pedestrian visibility.
In just a few more weeks, we’ll be enjoying a beautiful, renewed downtown that has been carefully rebuilt to serve our community for decades to come.
Asphalt paving on Mick Jones Way will take place from Monday, September 28 to Friday, October 2, weather permitting.
The Broadway Street West Reconstruction project includes sewer and watermain replacement along with full road surface reconstruction with the addition of a roadside, multi-use path along Broadway Street West as well as completion of the remaining portion of West River Street reconstruction.
Installation of underground services continue on Dundas Street East in Paris
The County of Brant is planning the next phases of road reconstruction in the community of Scotland. This multi-year project will replace aging infrastructure, improve road conditions and drainage, and help maintain safety and mobility throughout the community.
The multi-year infrastructure project on Dundas Street East, Paris Road, and Oak Park Road continues to make great progress.
Surface asphalt paving will begin on Monday, September 28 on Bethel Road between Rest Acres and Potruff Road.
Road base asphalt paving in the Paris East Flats will start today, Thursday, September 17.
The Paris Terry Fox Run returns this Sunday, September 20 beginning at 11:00 am. Approximately 150 participants will walk, run or wheel the 5 km route. Increased pedestrian activity is expected near the high school parking lot entrance and along the marked route.
