Construction Progress Continues on New North Paris Fire Station
Construction continues to progress on Station 9 (North Paris) Fire Station, on Ann Wilson Way in Paris.
The pre-engineered steel frame has now been delivered to the site, and crews are continuing to assemble the structure. Primary and secondary steel installation is approximately 50 per cent complete, giving the community a first look at the size and scale of the new station.
“We’re pleased to see the new Station 9 continuing to take shape,” said Fire Chief Darren Watson. “This is an exciting milestone for our firefighters and the residents in the north end of the County. This new facility will provide our firefighters with the space, resources and support they need to respond to emergencies and serve the community.”
Another exciting milestone was reached this month with the completion of the watermain connection. The watermain successfully passed required testing and the final connection was completed.
Over the coming months, crews will continue work on the steel structure, landscaping and other key building components.
The project remains on schedule for anticipated completion in Spring 2027.
The new North Paris Fire Station is part of the County of Brant’s Fire Master Plan (2021) and reflects the County’s ongoing investment in fire services and emergency response infrastructure to support firefighters and the community for years to come.
