Grand River Street North Reconstruction Storm Sewer and Roundabout (North)

Work will begin on Grand River Street North/Pinehurst Road at the Watts Pond Road intersection starting tomorrow, Friday, November 6, 2026. 

What and where?

• Grand River Street North/Pinehurst Road at the Watts Pond Road intersection

When?

• On or after Friday, November 6, 2026
• Note: date is tentative and subject to change based on weather conditions and construction progress

Why?

• To facilitate installation of new storm main at the intersection of Grand River Street North/Pinehurst Road and Watts Pond Road

Impacts:

• Road Impacts: The eastbound lane of Watts Pond Road will be closed at Grand River Street North/Pinehurst Road. Access to Watts Pond Road from Grand River Street North/Pinehurst Road will not be available during construction
• Detours: Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour signs. A map of the designated detour route is provided below.
