Temporary Lane Restriction Notice – Pottruff Road

Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 3 on Pottruff Road in Paris.

Pottruff Road will remain open to traffic throughout the project. Temporary lane restrictions may be required, but access to residential and commercial properties will be maintained.

Where is the closure?

• Pottruff Road, Paris

When?

• Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to Friday, November 20, 2026, pending weather and field conditions.

Why?

• To design the new Brant Business Park watermain looping project, which will help secure a reliable water supply for our community, engineers first need to understand what is happening underground. You will see crews out in the field drilling small, temporary holes to understand what types of soil, sand, or rock are deep beneath the surface and check where the underground water level sits. This simple "ground check" gives our engineering team the exact data they need to design the underground piping system.

Changes during closure period:

• Intersection impacts: Pottruff Road and Markel Drive and Pottruff Road and Shawcross Street may have temporary lane restrictions.
• Road or sidewalk impacts: Temporary lane restrictions.
• Detour routes: Not applicable, partial closures only.
• Noise/light: Work will be limited from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily in accordance with the County of Brant Noise By-law 108-22.
• Parking: Street parking may be temporarily closed.
• Access (personal driveways, services or amenities): Residential and commercial entrances to remain open during the work.
