The Great Snowplow Naming Contest: Names Are In! Now It’s Time to Vote!

The snowplow names are in, and now it’s your turn to help choose the winners of The Grand Snowplow Naming Contest!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who got creative and submitted a name for one of the County of Brant’s five snowplows. We received some fun and clever suggestions, and we’ve narrowed them down to a list of finalists for each ward.

Now we need your help to pick the winners!

Voting is open until November 6, 2026

County of Brant residents can vote for their favourite finalist in their own ward and in any of the other four wards. So, take a look at all the names, pick your favourites and help us decide which ones will make the cut!

How to vote:

• Explore the finalist names for each of the five wards. Each ward has it's own colour so scroll down to view them all.
• Click the 'Thumbs up' icon under your favourite snowplow name in each ward that you think should win.Cast a vote for your favourites by Friday, November 6.
