Water Servicing Disruption Notice - Dundas Street East in Paris

The Contractor is scheduled to complete the final connections of the watermain on Dundas Street East in Paris the week of October 26, 2026. Below are the anticipated timelines and impacts.

When?

• Monday, October 26, 2026, to Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Timeline:

• Monday, October 26, 2026 (7:00 am – 5:00 pm) Part 1 of the final connection of the watermain at Curtis Avenue South will be completed.
• Monday, October 26, 2026 (8:00 pm – 4:00 am) Final connections of water services for Businesses will be completed.
• Tuesday, October 27, 2026 (7:00 am – 7:00 pm) Final connections for residential water services.  As well as the final connection of the watermain between the CN bridge and Consolidated Drive.
• Wednesday, October 28, 2026 (7:00 am – 7:00 pm) Part 2 of the final connection of the watermain at Curtis Avenue South will be completed.

Impacts:

• Intersection impacts: Periodic flagging may occur at the intersection of Curtis Avenue South and Dundas Street East to access water valves.

• Road or sidewalk impacts: No change

• Noise/light: Heavy equipment and dump trucks will be operating during early morning and overnight work activities. Additional lighting will also be onsite for worker safety.

Service Disruption:

• • Water service will be turned off for properties on Curtis Avenue South on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • Water service will be turned off for Businesses on Dundas Street East on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 8:00 pm to Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 4:00 am.

  • Water service will be turned off for properties on Curtis Avenue South on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Impacted properties will receive specific notification outlining the date and time of the water service interruption.
