Advance Voting is NOW OPEN for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election

Advance Voting is NOW OPEN for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election!

Eligible voters can cast their ballot online or by phone from October 19 until Election Day, October 26, at 8:00 pm. View your Voter Information Letter for instructions on how to cast your vote.

Have questions about online voting?

The County of Brant has partnered with Simply Voting, a Canadian election services provider that has supported elections in municipalities across Canada, including the County's Ward 5 By-Election earlier this year.

We've put together Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to help you better understand the online voting process. Visit brant.ca/electionFAQ to learn more.

Need help casting your vote or don’t have access to a computer or phone?

Visit an in-person Voter Assistance Location, where Elections Staff will be available to guide you through the voting process.

Internet and computer access are also available by visiting a County of Brant Customer Service Office or County of Brant Public Library location. At these locations you can vote independently if you don’t require staff support.

Haven't received your Voter Information Letter?

Eligible voters should have received their letter by October 12. If you haven't received yours, please contact the County as soon as possible.

Visit brant.ca/voting for online voting FAQs, Voter Assistance Locations, hours of operation and everything you need to know to cast your vote!
